摘要/Abstract:

The concept of rebuilding everything with AI transcends mere rhetoric—it is actively shaping various domains of science and technology. In this talk, I will present recent research and ongoing projects from my group, which encompass a wide array of interests, including computational structural biology of proteins and RNAs, computational genomics through single-cell sequencing analysis, and spatial transcriptomics aimed at unraveling the complexity of tissues and organs. I am particularly driven by questions regarding the potential of current AI methods to address challenges in life sciences, the unique aspects of AI applications in biomedical data compared to other sci-tech fields, and whether AI will introduce new paradigms in life science research.
