主讲人/Speaker:

Yi Xuexi, male, born in April 1968. He is a Distinguished Professor at Northeast Normal University. He obtained his undergraduate and master's degrees from Northeast Normal University, and his Doctor's degree from Jilin University.

Academic appointments:

Postdoctoral researcher: 

the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1999-2001；

the University of Essen in Germany, the University of Hannover in Germany, 2001-2002；

the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States, 2002-2003；

Research interests:

Open quantum system and its applications, such as quantum control, quantum devices, and quantum metrology. 230 journal papers published, including 130 in the Phys Rev series. He is the co-author of four textbooks and review book. He won the First Prize of Science and Technology of Jilin Province (Natural Science Category) in 2016.

讲座摘要/Abstract:

In this talk, we will present two approximations to solve the master equation, and apply the approximations to study the issues including the response of a two-band system to external fields, a dissipative two-level system coupled to a damping classical magnet, and the energy transfer in FMO.
